Ultra Thin Molecular Films (UTMF) ensures stabilization of the molecule without oxidation and enhances cutaneous absorption of active ingredients through the epidermis.

The particular rheology of molecular films permits the extension of monolayers of functional ingredients on the skin that spread very well on the epidermis favouring cutaneous occlusivity and absorption of the active ingredients. It is obtained under microfluidizing conditions. It also exhibits, apart from the benefits inherent to the actives themselves, a significative moisturizing profile demonstrated through TEWL (Trans-Epidermal Water Loss) techniques.

UMTF Ceramide reinforces the lipidic barrier of the skin (and repairs and protects hair fibers) by encapsulating Ceramide III, a long-chain or sphingoid base linked to a fatty acid.

Of natural origin, ceramide III reinfiorces the natural lipidic barrier in dried and aged skin, provides immediate and long-lasting hydration effect on skin. On hair care, it repairs and protects damaged hair form external insults (bright, combing, mechanical properties…).
